Flo
Flo was designed as a part of my final year project, which aimed to reduce repetitive strain injuries (RSI) and musculo-skeletal disorders in professional hair stylists. The current design for most hair dryers are bulky, heavy, and a fire hazard in the workplace as hair often is sucked into the fan component at the back. In this product, I aim to reduce these issues by separating many of these components from the handle, which drastically reduces the weight and the risk of fire for the stylist.
